| Our house at Ländteweg 13 in Brienz, with 2 separate apartments is situated in a quiet side street, it is totally central. In 2 minutes you are at the boat landing, at the Rothornbahn, at the station, tourist information and bus station. You can also travel comfortably without a car. You have only 2 minutes walk from the station to the apartment.. Also various shops, post office and bank are located close by. The apartments are comfortably furnished and equipped with everything necessary. Moreover, it is the ideal starting point your favorite time of year to enjoy properly. Apartment Anemone: There is enough space for 6 persons: Dining area with large table, corner bank and chairs, kitchen with 4 hotplates, fridge with freezing unit, oven, dish washer and all necessary things. Living room with sofa and cable TV and library, games, WLan and wonderful sheltered balcony. Generous bedroom with double bed (1.60 x 2.00), large wardrobe and enough space for a cot if necessary. The two other bedrooms are a little bit smaller with 2 single beds in every room. Village of Brienz The village is situated at the lake shore of Lake Brienz on 566m above sea level, surrounded of the romantic mountains of Bernese Oberland. It is an ideal starting point for excursions to the whole Bernese Oberland whether you travel by public transportation or by car. The skiing areas of Meiringen-Hasliberg and also Axalp are nearby and there is a net with wonderful hiking and walking paths in the region. Brienz is famous for its long wood carving tradition, there is the Swiss wood sculptor Museum, also the open air Museum Ballenberg and the romantic vapor train to Brienzer Rothorn. The historic part of Brienz called Aenderdorf is the most beautiful part of the village and famous for the alley Brunngasse, which is called "the most beautiful alley of Europe". Most of the houses have been built in the 18th century. You reach our apartment when coming from the station, cross the gates and turn to the right, then walk along the railway line just to there where it hides in the tunnel.
