Stunningly situated on top of a hill overlooking the rolling unspoilt Tarn countryside, our traditional barn has been sensitively converted to form the very comfortable gite « Les Tournesols », a true home from home.

« Les Tournesols » is a short walk from a small village, which has a baker's, a restaurant (great for Sunday lunch...!) and a corner store/post office, and is only a 5/10 mins drive from each of the pink brick market towns of GAILLAC, RABASTENS and LISLE SUR TARN. These offer all services (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, cinemas, banks, post office), as well as being charming and interesting places to visit, surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers.

ACCOMMODATION
« Les Tournesols » sleeps 6 in great comfort in THREE BEDROOMS *
One double bedded room, one twin-bedded room and one bunk-bedded room.
Each room is individually decorated, has ample storage space.
The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, wash basin & W.C.
The second bathroom has a bath with shower-over and wash basin. There is an additional separate W.C.
Linen and towels are supplied (except pool towels). There is electric heating for winter lets.

The spacious open-plan LIVING & DINING ROOM, with three large windows looking onto the pool
and beyond to spectacular views,
has a stone fireplace (wood is provided for those cooler evenings) and comfortable seating.
A television and DVD player are provided with a good selection of films. It also has a digibox with Sky free-to-air channels.

The KITCHEN AREA is extremely well-equipped with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and other useful appliances. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & board.

OUTSIDE
Situated on top of a hill overlooking the rolling unspoilt Tarn countryside, « Les Tournesols » sits in several acres of meadows and oak woodlands.

The SOUTH FACING TERRACE is sheltered, totally private and has tremendous views onto fields and woods. It has a table, chairs, big parasol, and a large stone-built barbecue, all just perfect for those alfresco meals on warm summer evenings and for sampling the local Gaillac wines !

A fragrant lavender path leads to the very large SWIMMING POOL 12x6m (40’x20’) (with saline water which is much kinder to the skin...!).

There is a great number of poolside loungers around the pool, which has a southerly aspect enjoying sunshine all day long...
