« Saint Pierre Toirac » has a café/pizzeria/post office at its heart, making it a charmingly attractive and lively little village. It is only a 5/10mins drive from the bustling medieval town of CAJARC and, on the River Célé, the great little town of FIGEAC with an unspoilt medieval centre, not too encumbered by tourism. These offer all services (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, cinemas, banks, post office), as well as being dynamic and fascinating places to visit.
« Place aux Herbes » is also 30mins away from CAHORS, on the River Lot, the capital of the old province of Quercy. While you're in the Cahors area, don't miss out on the local wine, heady and black but dry to the taste.

ACCOMMODATION
"PLACE aux HERBES" has been beautifully restaured to sleep 4/6 in great comfort in THREE BEDROOMS (two double bedded rooms, one twin-bedded attic room).
Each room is beautifully decorated with antiques, and has ample storage space.

The first double bedroom has a balcony and also an en-suite wash basin & W.C.
The second bedroom is a single / twin bedded attic room.
An extra double bedroom, opening onto the terrace on the ground floor, is available during the late spring to early autumn months.

The BATHROOM has a modern spa shower and wash basin.
There is an additional separate W.C. Linen and towels are supplied.
There are heaters in every room for winter lets..

The spacious and elegant LIVING & DINING ROOM, with its inglenook fireplace has comfortable seating and antique furniture. A television and DVD player are provided with a good selection of films.
Broadband internet is available.

The KITCHEN is extremely well-equipped with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and other useful appliances.
The UTILITY ROOM in the pigeonnier has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & board.
There is a large cave/wine cellar useful for storing.

OUTSIDE
The SOUTH FACING TERRACE sheltered is surrounded by fragrant plants* and trees. (* “ Place aux Herbes ” used to belong to the village apothecary. By the mid-eighteenth century he had become the equivalent of today's community pharmacist, dealing mainly with the preparation and sale of herbs and substances for medicinal purposes.)

A BARBECUE is provided, just perfect for those alfresco meals on warm summer evenings and for sampling the local Cahors wines ! !
