Description

"Fleur de Lys" is a tiny newly renovated (mai 2012) charming old town house located on a small square in the pretty medieval area of Eymoutiers.

We created the ideal place to spend a romantic weekend away or just a base to explore Eymoutiers and its lovely Limousin surroundings.

There are 3 bakers, a patisserie, a butcher, a small supermarket, a pizzeria, 3 hairdressers, a launderette, 2 pharmacies, 2 doctors, 2 dentists, a post-office, a tourist office, 3 estate agents, 2 banks + ATM machine, a cinema, a library, 2 musea, a church, several shops, restaurants and a bistro all within walking distance.

A larger Casino supermarket is at 1 km. (also open Sunday morning)

There are 2 petrol stations, 2 garages, small train station (direct connection to Limoges) and the whole town has free parking.

Eymoutiers has a market every Saturday morning and every first and third Thursday of the month - where you can buy local produce. (cheese, honey, organic bread, sausages, vegetables ...)

There is a small park alongside the river VIENNE and during summer months you can rent canoes.

FLEUR-DE-LYS offers free WIFI access and all mod cons to make sure you enjoy your stay.

2 OR 3 NIGHT STAY - BREAKFAST:

In the Bar du Sport you can get a typical French breakfast : a croissant or a "pain au chocolat" (chocolate bun) with a large "café crème" (large cup of coffee with milk) or a "chocolat chaud" (hot chocolat milk).

The patisserie opposite the church has a large selection of teas (as well as coffee and hot chocolat). They're are 2 little tables inside and 2 outisde where you can have your drink, accompanied by a croissant, pain au chocolat or some delicous French patisserie.

The entrance of the house is via an outside staircase and the accommodation is spread over 2 levels:
